Spraying
Valeag have a range of spraying equipment available which is selected to suit the site, the ground and the weather conditions, and are NSTS tested where appropriate:

All are fitted with nozzles to suit the pesticide being applied, the target and weather conditions. Low drift nozzles are always available and are used by preference. All operators are NPTC trained. A BASIS qualified agronomist is available if required.

Weed Wiping
Weed Wiping is an Environmentally Sensitive method of chemical weed control. Our Weed Wiper wipes herbicide directly onto the weed leaf ensuring that only the target weeds are treated and that herbicide is not wasted on the rest of the field where not required. This reduces the quantity of herbicide used, packaging and water use, therefore saving you money.
Approved for use in Environmentally Sensitive Areas, in Countryside Stewardship Schemes, Entry Level and Higher Level field margins.
National Sprayer Testing Scheme
All our equipment is tested under the National Sprayer Testing Scheme (NSTS), ensuring efficiency and reduced waste.
National Register of Sprayer Operators
All operators are registered with the National Register of Sprayer Operators (NRoSO) so keep up to date with current application techniques and legislation, so carrying out the job both safely and efficiently.
